NHS dental charges at Harley House Dental Practice

A guide to NHS dental charges

Harley House Dental Practice are pleased to offer a full range of NHS Dental Services (subject to capacity) to our patients. This covers treatments that are clinically necessary to maintain healthy teeth and gums, including fillings, crowns, dentures and root canal treatment.

NHS Patients please Note:

Our NHS appointments are subject to limited capacity. If you are a patient that has not been to our practice for 2 years or more you will be automatically removed from our NHS list and will need to re-register in accordance with NHS guidelines in keeping our list current and up to date.

We currently operate an NHS waiting list.

We also run a strict “Did not attend” and “Late cancellation policy” – Meaning if you fail to attend 2 appointments or late cancel 2 appointments you will automatically be deregistered from the NHS list.

Late cancellation is when you do not give 24 hours’ notice that you will not be attending your appointment.

This is to ensure that we have the capacity to see as many patients under the NHS as possible within our limited capacity.

Please respect our rules as the NHS is a very limited service.

NHS fees are based on a system of bands, so you pay for treatment according to which band of treatment is required.

Band 2: Covers all treatment covered by Band 1, plus additional treatment, such as fillings, root canal treatment and removing teeth (extractions). £73.50
Band 3: Covers all treatment covered by Bands 1 and 2, plus more complex procedures, such as crowns, dentures and bridges. £319.10
Emergency: This covers emergency care in a primary care NHS dental practice such as pain relief or a temporary filling. £26.80
